Passage, Brooklyn Bridge
Watercolor, INK and Gouache
Held for Exhibition
The Brooklyn Bridge has been photographed and painted often and it was a challenge to paint in a new light.
Painting the icon was an expression of my admiration for the bridge along with a desire to see people connect in a real and tangible way as a bridge is meant to join communities.
Received a First Place Award in the water media category at the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Art Club NY NY, 2nd Annual Associates Exhibition 2021. It can also be viewed at the National Association of Women Artists exhibition, " Then and Now," held at the Monmouth Museum, Lincroft, NJ. 2022 March 20 to May 15, 2022.
Currently part of the Allied Artists of America 109th Juried Exhibition 2022-2023
